Create a Movie Stunt!!!!

The book I chose to read, is called Using Math To Create A Movie Stunt. This all about how to create a movie stunt. This book will tell me about how to make a movie stunt, and not get hurt. The page I went to first, was page four, now you might be thinking, why page four?. Why not start from the the first page. The fourth page tells me all about money, and cars, and things like that. I hope to learn that if i ever make a movie, that i can throw people out a window, or off a building, and they…See More

Using Math to Build a Skyscraper

You have to use everyday math to build a skyscraper. You have to look at the shapes and sizes of the plots of land below. You have to find the area of each of the plots on the skyscraper in square feet. Some problems that might occur while building a skyscraper is when the soil at the skyscraper's site is very soft. while in this situation, the builders must dig up a large hole. the weight of the soil that is removed must be equal the weight of the building so that the final load of the soil…See More

Mr Socol report

On the Friday of October 22, we met someone named Mr.Socol and he talked about how our lives are like his. He was talking about how he had trouble in math, reading and writing. We all related to this, and I think we started bombarding the poor man with questions . He took them one at a time, and he told us a funny tale about his life... It wasn't really funny more then it was sad but it was good conversation. All in all he was a good person, and the class would like to talk to him another time.
